Mama's Got Babies on the Brain

Do you mama's ever feel a deep intuitive connection to your child? My son wonders why I always know where he is and can sense him whenever he's trying to play hide and seek. When we are apart, I still feel deeply connected to him and know that he is safe through feeling a sense of peace when I energetically open my heart to him.
Sometimes he can sense me too. The other day I was walking home from work and was two blocks away from the house out of view when my son came running up the path into my arms. Apparently he was just hanging out making snacks at home when he took off out the door up the path. Intuitively or instinctively, he knew mama was coming home. He's done similar actions when he was a toddler, taking off for entrances to buildings he is in, meeting me just as I was walking up to the door.
This deep connection between mother and child is woven together on so many levels of our being. However scientists have discovered a new way that baby and mom are connected neurologically. As reported in Scientific American, researchers from Singapore in neuro-biology have found that fetal cells travel prenatally across the placental barrier and find their way to the mother's brain. These fetal cells behave as stem cells. The fetal cells stay in the mothers' brain for up to 27 years and seem to sense molecular distress and can help to heal or repair tissues and organs.
The potential implication of fetal cells in the mother's brain is astounding! Our children really do become a part of us. We can heal each other, feel each other, and understand each other through shared cellular memory. As human beings, we are inherently interconnected, through breath, blood, body, and brain.
