Pregnancy Massage
Hi everyone!
My article "A Midwife's Gift: Massage in Midwifery" was published in the Summer 2007 issue of Massage Australia magazine. All about the origins of massage in midwifery around the world, the integration of high-touch and high-tech maternity care, and tips for professional practice of pregnancy massage.
It's primarily an article for massage therapists to understand the origins, practice, research, and future of massage in the childbearing year. It's also an excellent read for anyone interested in optimizing health in pregnancy, labor, and postpartum particularly doctors, midwives, doulas, childbirth educators, and pregnant women.
